Teachers.
Our listed teachers are of the highest calibre. There are professionals who have graduated from the pre-eminent Cuban National Schools of Art, Music and Dance having devoted their lives to years of study developing their natural skills.
Others have gained their reputation through sheer determination and a talent too remarkable to ignore. Our passion driven non-Cuban nationals have paid great service to Cuba going to extraordinary lengths to fully understand, embrace and promote the Cuban culture. Through intensive study of the movement, rhythms and nature of the people and a British empathy they are able to pass on this knowledge to others in a most comprehensible way.
Working towards a common goal the teachers have collectively enabled cross-culture integration and accessibility to Cuban music and dance for all; Whatever your requirement there is a teacher to meet your need.
They are available for select corporate work, speciality workshops, cultural events (e.g. Black History Month) and other promotions. Many are experienced in theatre, film, music video and television work as choreographers, directors or in an advisory capacity. They are frequently consulted with as leading authorities in the fields of dance, rhythm & percussion, afro-cuban body movement, Cuban culture, roots and folklore. They are inspiring and motivational role models for all performing artists.

Our International Salsa celebrities have performed at numerous major Congresses, festivals and weekenders throughout the World and on the West End stage in hit musicals.
The amazing performances are of the most professional standard, ranging from the raw, earthy dances of the Orishas (African Gods), to the vibrant street style of La Rueda de Casino, to the most highly polished and intricately choreographed jaw dropping routines, complete with lifts and tricks Our performers are always a delight to their audiences and provide a perfect main attraction at your event.

Bands.
Our bands are made up of some of the most talented and experienced vocalists and percussionist from Latin America.
From 4-12 piece bands – they are the UK’s foremost Cuban and Latin musicians.
They have supported leading bands and some of the legends of Salsa both in Cuba and UK and have performed internationally at prestigious venues and festivals.
These musicians have a wonderful versatility playing everything from Afro-Cuban traditional music to the more established salsa beats to the most complex and sumptuous rhythms of modern timba. They can capture every genre of Cuban music and adjust to an intimate setting or ‘lift the roof off’ at a large capacity venue.
They love to entertain and interact with their audiences and have their enthusiasm reciprocated. When this music gets into the bloodstream it is impossible not to respond. This is truly LIVE music and music inseparable from dancing.

Djs.
Our DJ’s are well known and respected on the Salsa circuit in the UK and internationally. They are in regular demand at major Salsa congresses, festivals and at the most popular regular salsa club and events in the UK. Their knowledge of Latin music is vast driven by an insatiable appetite for the rich and complex rhythms. Their diverse and never-ending collections catalogue a whole history of Cuban music from its Afro-Cuban roots, through Son, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba to the opulent sounds of modern Timba and everything in between charting the evolution of Salsa.
The DJ’s service to Cuban artists is invaluable. Forever abreast of the latest emerging talent in Cuba and other countries, and keeping alive the traditional music, they help sustain Cuba’s music industry by exposure to the more affluent international market.

Dancers.
Clave y Son Team can also provide casual Latin Cuban salsa dancers for your event to create a lively ambiance and encourage dancing. From solo dancers to couples to small groups or even a large rueda team, whatever you requirement we can tailor make something to suit your occasion. All our team are friendly and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills, perfect to interact with your guests and encourage a party atmosphere. Our team are also available for film, TV and photographic work, private tuition, ‘emergency’ dance lessons, schools work, corporate work and other projects.
